Aaah!!what a day it was yesterday....

there is lots to brag about........

finally saw the new james bond movie casino royale at 3,i liked it alot although there were no futuristic gadgets(only cameras n laptops)and not many scenes with the aston martin..just a few scenes dats all..it was depressing but at the end it was all good...


n then!!!at 7pm 24th november 2006 on a cool windy night in my green 2002 ford ikon 1.3 petrol was going to.......................

simply wonderful..i was inited for the e-class launch..was my 1st time for a car launch but have been for many car shows...

the guy when briefing abt the car kept telling the launch of the next gen E...wat a looser being the md of benz india he should know its just a face lift for its mid life...but what the hell ppl over there dont mind which generation it is,what does it do,why was it made,who made it etc they just want to show their money off to all the ppl around them saying i own a merc i have money(not for all ppl..only most of them as i know few ppl who do know abt the cars they own)and i can say this as the female kept throwing questions at the audience abt the company..

the 1st question was.
how did the name mercedes come up for mercedes benz...
i waited i waited for around 90 sec until i could wait no more n shouted it was his daughters name n i was called on stage to tell the story behind it(but dint tell d story..um..was lil shocked to be on stage so told her i dint know the story)
then a part of a fashion show den a performance from some ppl(was amazing)
she came again spoke a lil and one more question for the audience

2nd question was..
what did the mercedes racing team do when they were not allowed to participate in a race as they were overweight,what did they do to reduce the weight so that they could race??..
i knew this one..but waited...some ppl told they removed the bonnet...used alloy wheels...switched to a lighter driver...but then she looked at me n was a look something like i know u know the ans come now tell it...
well told the ans again,they scraped the paint off...
now d ppl clapped felt happy she named me a true auto enthusiast....

oh yeah n at the end of it when everyone was having dinner n done watching the car quite a few ppl came up to me n told very good u have quite a knowledge about cars..or something like that..i just put it in a way that would sound much cooler...
